1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChristianMatch.ng (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract and not be barred by law from using a dating service.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
  • One account per person; no fake or duplicate accounts.

3. Account and Conduct

  • You are responsible for your account and password. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
  • You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.
  • You will not: harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate others; post false or misleading content; impersonate others; use the service for fraud or commercial solicitation; post illegal, defamatory, or obscene content; scrape or automate access without permission; or circumvent safety or access controls.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

  • You keep ownership of content you post but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Platform.
  • We may remove content that violates these terms or our policies without notice.
  • The Platform’s name, logo, design, and software are our property and may not be copied or used without permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not: use the Platform for any illegal purpose under Nigerian or applicable law; solicit minors; distribute malware; attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other accounts; or use the Platform in any way that could harm us, other users, or third parties.

6. Subscription and Payments

  • Paid features (e.g. Pro membership, credits) are subject to the pricing shown at the time of purchase.
  • Payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or as displayed. Refunds are as stated in our payment/refund policy or as required by law.
  • We may change prices with notice; continued use of paid features after a change may constitute acceptance.

7. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or for operational or legal reasons.
  • You may close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • On termination, your right to use the Platform ends; we may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

  • The Platform is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee accuracy of profiles, compatibility of matches, or uninterrupted service.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of users or for content posted by users. You use the Platform and interact with others at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or inability to use it, including loss of data or profits. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us (and our affiliates, officers, and employees) harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria. Nothing in these terms excludes your statutory rights under Nigerian law.
